I did a series of paintings entitled FairySALE! for an exhibition in Balzers, Liechtenstein curated by Verein Schichtwechsel. The theme of the exhibition was losely based on The Town Musicians of Bremen (Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten). A fairy tale about a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster who all are discarded by their masters after they got too old and became useless. In my version the animals have all exceeded their expiry date and are just waiting to be thrown in the trash.
